Suggest Remedy For Over Weight.

Hi, I am 27 years old and I have two kids of 3 years. I am now at 100 kg of body weight and I have hypothyroidism. I take 2 tablet of thyroxin ( 50 mcg) everyday. I also take ocp every night as I was diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia. I am very much worried about my weight .. I can't diet neither I can't exercise. I feel very tired all the time. I have lost my focus too. I can't even concentrate on anything. May be I am suffering from depression too. I extremely need a lifestyle change. Can you please guide me ?

Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that all of your symptoms is because of the hypothyroidism. so first important thing is to continue regular thyroxin. Also start exercising a little bit, gradually increase the exercise as you develp enough muscle mass to exercise. this will take a 6 month or so to start reducing your weight, but do not discontinue the exercise. and once you start reduce your weight all of the symptoms you mentioned will gradually disappear. If you have anything else to ask please contact me. Thanx. Dr. Arun Tank
