i was 8 weeks pregnant and today shockingly radiologist says that the,'' Trans Vaginal Sonography reveals status quo and suggested abortion. Two weeks earlier the same radiologist says that it was intrauterine pregnancy of 6weeks 2 days.... please suggest what to do now... whether MTP now is risky...
Hello and thank you for the question and thank you for visiting our site.
So two weeks ago, the radiologist saw a normal pregnancy at 6 2/7 wks. This would suggest that they also saw a heartbeat and there was presumably not concern at that time of a miscarriage. Now, their statement is not entirely clear as to whether you are experiencing a miscarriage or not. It seems as though they are implying this, but it is not clear. I would recommend the following:
1. You need to contact the clinic / hospital where this was performed
2. You need to ask if someone could explain the findings
3. If there are concerns that the pregnancy is miscarrying on its own, then MTP is not necessary
I hope that this helps and good luck!.
