Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have hypothyroidism and Hashimotos and I m currently on 88mcg of levrothyroxin . I no longer feel like it s it s helping me. I feel like I m going between hyper and hypo and just feel miserable. I was told the generic levrothyroxin may have fillers and only treat the T4. I m not getting anywhere with anyone listening to how I feel.
You should continue Levothyroxine and may repeat thyroid levels all TSH, T3, T4 levels and show to physician he might change dose of drug. Diet can be helpful like [lots of fruits, vegetables, salads included and avoid caffeine, non-veg, smoking or pollution area and alcohol.
Join online sukshm yoga and breathing exercise [art of living ombw or happiness course is very helpul in relieving symptoms of Hashimoto disease] seen in past cases.
