Suggest Remedy For Fever With Tonsils

Hi... My husband played sport yesterday for hours and had very little water. Last night he had a fever and weakness to the point where he couldn't get out of bed. He also has a headache. He drank lots of fluids yesterday but today is suffering the same symptoms. He also has an inflamed tonsil I think. He never gets ill so this is unusual. Thanks for the help!

As per your query your husband suffering from fever with tonsils which seems to be due to infection of tonsils leading to tonsillitis.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take antibiotic like Amoxicillin with Levocetirizine and Pheylephrine. You should take steam inhalation 2-3 times a day. You should drink hot liquids and avoid cold drinks. You should drink plenty of water to maintain hydration. Avoid hot, sharp and spicy food substances. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined if symptoms keeps on persisting and start treatment as per diagnosis. Go for blood and throat swab test as well.
