Suggest Remedy For Fatigue And Weakness
Dr. Keerthi, My father, aged 83 is currently on medication of Syndopa plus and Pramiplex tablets 3 times daily. But, in this summer, his Off time is increasing. Particularly, mobility is affected. He can t get up, nor take a step. Also, even after taking full meals 3 times daily and also, taking breakfast etc, he feels fatigue and a lot of weakness. Pl. advise. Regards, Krishna Murty

From the complaints and the information of the medication, it appears a case of Parkinsonism. As one must be aware, that parkinson is a disorder that impairs patients movement and mobility. Though with the help of medicate one can arrest or slow down the progression of disorder, a complete cure is often not possible. Although gradually, but there will be deterioration even with medication.
An addition of one more drug can be considered, which can be decided only after doing a proper and detailed physical examination, hence a neurological consultation is very advisable.
