Hi,

Any surgery causes weakness due to the stress of surgery antibiotics, decreased diet etc. This in turn results in delay in periods depending on degree of weakness and patients normal menstrual pattern. Your contraception was stopped but your follicular tubes were removed so there is no fear of pregnancy.

Your uterus and ovaries are intact so menstruation would be there. Please don't worry. Take rest. Have nutritive diet do mild exercises and wait for periods to start. If you don't get till 6 months, consult your doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
