General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your short history of feeling of worm moving under the skin around ear, pain in ear drum and clenching of teeth causing pain in ear. All your history is suggestive of one of the following:
- Temporo-mandibular joint arthralgia causing such problem.
- Otitis externa due to excessive cleaning as a habit.
- Nerve compression supplying this area can cause similar symptoms.

Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
- Consult an ENT Surgeon.
- Have his examination properly and abide by the investigations he would ask for.
- All these will give a proper diagnosis and thus allow a proper surgical and medical treatment.
If the problem is related to TM joint then take a second opinion of an oral or dental surgeon to study the cause and get corrected accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
