Hello,

Your symptoms sound quite serious, especially with the confusion. It actually has me concerned for you. The first concern is with your blood pressure. You did not mention it but the sensation you described as near-fainting makes me this your blood pressure is trending lower than it should. I think this needs checked out. Also, your blood sugar could be running low, I am not sure if you had a history of gestational diabetes or not but I think you need to be checking this or have someone check this when your symptoms start to worsen. These are the first things that you may be able to do from home.

However, I do think you need looked at closer, even if these measurements turn out normal I would still ask you to see your family doctor about this. Your electrolytes could be abnormal, if could have an inner ear problem causing dizziness and nausea and I do think you need to have some labs checked. The confusion could be many things to be honest and your doctor may even want to do a CT scan to make sure there is nothing causing the confusion and dizziness. I am sorry, in no way am I trying to increase your anxiety about this but I am somewhat concerned and I do feel you absolutely need checked by a physician in-person if not for you then for your child!

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
