Suggest Remedy For Diabetes Type 1 & Thyroid Disease

my 23 year old son has very little ambition. some might say he is super lazy. he is a type 1 diabetic, thin, active and controls his sugar (which he tests daily) via a low glycemic raw vegan diet (instead of injections). How often do type 1 s also have thyroid issues?

Dear madam i can understand your concern.
your son is able to control his blood sugar with low glycemic food stuff its a very good news.
usually most of type 2 diabetes is due to autoimmune mediated,This means our immune system is killing our own cells.
This kind of autoimmune disorders like type 1 diabetes is associated with autoimmunity against thyroid gland also.
This kind of association is seen in 30-35% of type 1 diabetes population.
