Suggest Remedies For Thrush With Pink And Red Vaginal Discharge
Haveing had a case of thrush i have used a canistan pessary and cream combination earlier. But since had intercourse and now had a pinky red discharge from my vagina. Should I be worried? I don t think I scratched myself when inserating the pessary. ..should I be worried?
Pink and red vaginal discharge might be due to vaginal bleeding and this is not a common finding with thrush infection.
Bleeding after intercourse can happen with infections other than thrush. You will need a gynecological examination and possibly some tests to rule out infection or other problems. I would recommend you cervical samples for chlamydia and gonorrhea and a pap smear. Your doctor might also ask for a transvaginal ultrasound.
According to the test results the doctor will be able to determine the best treatment for you.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
