Suggest Methods To Reduce The Pain In My Lungs

My lungs hurt very bad. every breath i take hurts. I do not have a cold or sick in any way other than the pain in lungs. I do not have a temp and feel fine, although I am starting to get some anxiety due to the lung pain and knowing this is something odd and not normal. i will be going to the dr. monday, but i have a good 30 hours before that. anything i can do in the meantime to help? what might be going on?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Since you are not having fever, cough, cold or any other symptoms, no need to worry for major heart and lung related diseases from your chest pain.
Possibility of simple musculoskeletal pain is more.
So avoid stress regarding this.
This can be due to bad posture in sleep or due to awkward movement.
So till monday you can do following things for symptomatic relief.
1. Apply warm water pad on affected areas.
2. Take simple painkiller.
3. Avoid bad postures in sleep. Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
4. Avoid stress and tension.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
