Suggest Methods To Lose Body Weight

from waist up, i am thin, however, my thighs and legs are fat. i have a very hectic school schedule. during these times, i often get comments from my friends telling me i am getting thinner. i only lose weight from waist up, too. it's as if i have edema, or something (but of course, i can't really tell...). i don't really want to do exercises since i experience chest pains sometimes. i haven't consulted a doctor, yet. what do i do? perhaps some of you can give me just some idea of what i might be experiencing. thank you.

Thak you for writing. I think as you are pear shaped it seems like you are losing weight only in the upper body. If you want to endure yourself you can take a test at a dietitian. The test shouws you the percentage of fat mass and muscles mass in each arm, each leg and the truncus of the body. Just to be sure. Try to eat a high protein diet with cheese, egg, cottage cheese, milk chicken, fish and less carbohydrates such as bread, rice, cookies, spaghetti, desserts. Try to focuse the exercises in your lower part more( with the help from the instructor).
