Suggest Medicine For Severe Tooth Pain

I had an initial procedure for root canal. Within the hour, I had pain. I called the dentist and was told that it was due to the infection and once I take the antibiotic for a couple of days, the pain shouldn't persist. I took 600mg of Ibuprofen at 1pm and it relieved the pain. Around 6pm I was in pain and took hydroco apap 5-500 mallinckro at 7:30pm. I am in excruciating pain. Can I take ibuprofen 800mg now (9:30pm)? Also, I called the dentist and left a message concerning the severe pain.

Hello, Thank you for consulting with HCM.
Actually tooth pain is a very severe pain, to get relief from it you have to get the treatment done, either root canal or removal of tooth.
Till then you can continue with the same medication or start with a ketorol DT or Dispersible Paracetamol.
Hope it will help you.
