Suggest Medications For Swollen Ankles In Elderly Diabetic Paitents
Hello,
I am worried my 80 yr old grandpa has type 2 diabetes and has really swollen ankels and feet very very swollen more than usual. He also has red circular swiggly lines line on the swollen top part of his ankels. What is wrong?
What can I do to relieve it?

dear sir i can understand.usually swelling of ankles without pain will be there in kidney and heart related problems
pain associated with swelling will be there in infections and sprains due to fall
so i suggest you to check his Serum creatinine,echo,complete blood counts,blood sugar fasting and after food.
keep his foot end elevated
i need his full medication history also
