Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, it appears that your son of 4 years have cough and cold. The reason may be the infection of the upper respiratory tract.
I advise you to consult a pediatrician for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms syrups of cifixime, phenylephrine, citrizine, and paracetamol.
Avoid giving him fruits, juices, ice water, ice cream etc till the symptoms recede.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
