Suggest Medication For Promoting Lactation After Child Birth

Hi,
I am 34 yrs old. My baby is 23 days old. I am only able to get about 16 oz of milk by pumping my breast milk. Planning to use lactare tablets. How much dose can I take and for how long. My baby needs around 25 oz per day right now, so I am supplementing by formula right now.

Thx,
New mom

Hello,

You can take LACTARE tab or granule to increase milk secretion. For dosing, you need to consult with doctor and take complete prescription.

In addition, you must take healthy diet with iron-calcium supplement, drink more water and clean nipple after each feed. Good luck.
