Hi,

Herpes genitalis is usually treated with acyclovir 400 MG THRICE DAILY for 7 days. turning black after herpes outbreak is due to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Please note that herpes genitalis is an incurable infection and please do not attempt unprotected intercourse while having an outbreak.

Hope it helps. If you have any other question please do not hesitate to contact us.

Regards,
Dr. Atishay Bukharia
