My 8 year old daughter had her ears pierced 2 months ago. Yesterday the ear lobe was swollen, hard and red. I gave her ibuprofen and she put the cleaner on it given to her when they were pierced (which she has been doing 3x a day for the last 2 months) This afternoon her earring became impacted and it is bleeding from the hole. The backof earring is visible but the front stud is imbedded in the ear. We are taking her to urgent care but what can we do in the meantime?
