Suggest Eating Habits For An Pregnant Anaemic Patient.

I am anaemic and 2 months pregnant. I have no appetite and doc says I am underweight. Doc says to pep up my blood but I do not have idea what food to eat to increase my blood production.

What are the worst consequences if I am still anaemic in the advance stage of pregnancy?

I am very afraid.

hi,welcome to healthcare magic.continue the folic acid tablet as your doctor might have prescribed you.Along with that take banana, pomegranate, beet rout, green leafy veg like spinach and rest other fruits ,vegetables and what ever you like, after one month your doctor will prescribe you iron tablet then this problem will be solved almost as i hope.if you will be still anemic it will create problem in growth & development of fetus.but no need to worry much, there are other option for this problem.you may go for blood transfusion before the delivery if anemia will not corrected.till then continue all this it will help you .good luck.
