hi sir, my wife is 33yrs old and her weight is 61kgs. LMP was on 15th february 2011. Pregnancy positive now, unfortunatly we are not in position to continue with this plse advice me what will be the dosage of TAB MISOPROSTOL 200MCG FOR HER

Understand your concern
Abortion pill should be used after getting expert opinion from gynecologist.
Ideally mifepristone plus misoprostol should be used for abortion after confirming intrauterine pregnancy and gestational age of pregnancy (should be used safely up to 9 week of pregnancy)
Following procedure:
1. Mifepristone plus misoprostol: 600 mg mifepristone orally should be followed by 800 ug misoprostol vaginally by gynecologist after 48 hour.
2. Misoprostol alone: 800 ug misoprostol should be used every 6-8 hour maximum up to 3 dose only for pregnancy of less than 9 week of gestational age.

Post pill use USG scan should be done to detect retain product after 14 days.
