Suggest Diet Plans For Typhoid Fever Of 12 Year Old

my son 12 and half years has been diagnosed typhoid fever, he has 100 fever and light abdominal pain and light headache since twelve days, kindly let me know the seriousness of the disease and he is taking ofloxin 400 BD & CEPODEM 200mg BD. tell me the diet for him pls ans my query.....Why d fever not going????

Please let me know how long is he on medication now? Typhoid fever usually takes 5-6 days to subside after starting medication. Diet of your child should be light food containing soups, also give food every 3-4 hours, because the child will have less appetite, and due to pain in stomach as mentioned by you will not take big meal at a time. The medication itself can cause pain in stomach as side effect, see to it that they are administered after some food and not empty stomach
