Suggest Cure For A Cluster Of Small Bumps On The Rib Cage
My 2 year old son has a cluster of small bumps on his ribcage. They are skin colored kind of look like a whitehead but as far as I can tell there is nothing inside just hard bumps. Some are bigger than others but the largest one is still only the size of a large whitehead. My other son had something like this on his neck and the doctor said they were like warts cause they have a seed and you have to wait for your body to build up an immunity to them and they will eventually go away. Could these have spread to my other son?
After reading history, I conclude that most probably both sons have viral infection..called Molluscum contagiosum.
It is a benign skin condition characterised by umbilicated whitish papules occurring anywhere on the body.
You consult the dermatologist for the firm diagnosis.
Electrocautery, cryotherapy and laser therapy are the different modes of treatment, which give immediate improvement. And salicylic acid solution may be applied on the lesions.. which gives gradual result.
I hope this may help you.
Thanks.
