Gastroenterologist 's  Response
Hello,

There is no ssignificant reduction in the life span in patients suffering from crohn's disease. You need stric adhreance to your drud therapy and not discontinue medications unless advised by your gastroenterologist. Your dose of azathioprine is very low at present. You should expect intermittent flareup of Crohns disease whic can be managed by steroids \and adjusting the dose of medications. Hope this solves your query and feel free to contact me if you have further issues.
