Suggest Alternative For Tramal That Work As Mood Elevators

Hi, I had a severe road accident 4 year back so I started taking tramal. I started with 1 tramal 50 mg capsule a day. Then my dose kept on increasing. Also I started taking tramal for pain but after a very long use I realized it gives me feeling of happines and I feel energy inside me. My problem is addiction to tramal. I tried other medicine but didn t work. I took Stresam Capsules, Flux Capsules and Valium. I studied about tramal and it says tramal works on serotonin receptor which controls mood. Though Flux also works on serotonin but it didn t work to me. My questions are. Is there any mood elevators which works just like tramal? or If there are no major side effects should I continue? How much dose should I take?

Hi,

As Tramadol is also an opioid, therefore, it causes addiction and dependence. Therefore, it may become a bit difficult to withdraw it, particularly after using for a long time. Person using opioids find it difficult to experience a feeling of energy and happiness in any other substance. You are advised to consult some addiction specialist in this regard.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
