Hello and thanks for the query
Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) is the name of the fluid which is punctured from backbone and get tested to rule out infection like meningitis. Yes surely the fever or brain fever is curable with proper conservative treatment and effective antibiotics, which has to be selected on the basis of the CSF test report.
Complete hospitalization is necessary for that and it is more effective to give antibiotics and other medication by intravenous mode. Consult your treating doctor if you have other queries and about the condition of the patient and recovery time. He knows better about the patient.
Best wishes and get well soon.
