Suffering From White Spot On Skin Head, Nose, Eye, Hand, Feet, Taking Malanosil Lotion, Causing Redness. Reason?

Hi, i m suffering from white spot on skin head, nose , eye, hand and on feet from last 3 year s now i m treating them with malanosil lotion but after two day s during treatment ,redness occure to the white spot and also swelling and burning start s on the spot area head, nose ,eye so it heppen s during treatment or it is some kind of side effect. and now what should i do.

Hi, thanks for posting your query.

You are using melanosyl lotion which has methoxysalen1% for white spots. I hope you are using it under a dermatologist's prescription. It has to be used in proper dilution as advised other wise it can lead to hypersensitivity reactions like contact dermatitis.

It can cause mild transient redness,burning, swelling, fluid filled bumps, acneiform eruptions. But if the swelling and redness are marked and persistent
you may get it examined by your dermatologist to rule out contact dermatitis.
