Suffering From Sunburn, Lips Turning White, Head Stinging. Suggestions?

Hi, I have become very sensitive to sunlight the last 6 months to the extent that I'm getting badly burnt even wearing spf50 sunscreen in 14 deg temperature.
It's not just normal sunburn, I seem to be left with freckle type blemishes afterwards.
My GP is getting me to use Efidux cream on the affected area, which I'm yet to start.
He has altered my blood pressure tablets to try, but I think it is something a little more complicated than that.
My lips go completely white a couple of times each day and I feel quite lethargic.
My head stings constantly with the sunburn symptoms each night....I want to get it fixed up before the hot weather really hits.
Any ideas.?
