I have been taking paracetamol and the usual varieties of gels to rub in back I now have bad pains all round the back, both sides, it is painful to sit down, even on the toilet, I have been back to surgery and was given more gel and some codeine tablets which are not working very well I am worn out with all this pain any ideas?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, you are having sciatica since 9 years, but the pain you are having now may not be related to the sciatica. it might be fibromyalgia, or arthritis of the joints of the back.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and one injection weekly, along with other pain medications.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods. Thank you.
