Suffering From Depression. Having Sleepless Night. Not Cured By Antipsychotic Drugs. How To Get Cured?

h i i been suffering from depression i feel if i can do anythink cant sleep proper beein to doctor whic give me anti sycotic drug which didin work on me after one year in fact made me worst iam out of medication i feel better only when i have sleepless night that aggrevates me and makes me paranoid can you please help some time i think iam ill lost my self confident

Your symptoms are somewhat confusing. If I read you correctly, it sounds like you are suffering from depression with paranoid ideation and possible psychotic features. The treatment of choice for this is an antidepressant and possibly an antipsychotic medication as add-on therapy. An antipsychotic agent alone will not help lift your depression much and you might still be suffering depressive symptoms after a year because of the ack of taking an antidepressant. You should discuss this with a psychiatrist who can help orient you with better medication choices. Best wishes and do feel better!

Thanks for your questions.

I think you have psychosisso doctor would prescribed antipsychotic medication and you have comorbid depression also so you need antidepressant to make you complete cure.

I think you need a proper evolution.can you please describe your full set of symptoms so i can make a proper diagnosis.
