Suffer From Phimosis. Reddish Penis. Using Bactrim For Urithritis. Worried About Cancer

im a 24 year old male. ive had phimosis for as long as i can remember. i started stretching not too long ago and already im having great results as i can now see the tip of my penis and the meatus. however i noticed that my frenulum is red and the the same redness goes down and forms partial lips around the bottom of the penis slit. ive already been tested for std's and my doctor put me on 10-days of bactriim just in case i have urethrits. what could be causing this? i've read that phimosis can lead to penis cancer and i'm dealing with a lot of anxiety right now.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

Phimosis can lead to cancer penis if it is left uncleared for years together, say, after 40 years not now. At the same time all persons with phimosis not necessarily have to be suffered by cancer. Only there is a probability.

It is not enough to see the meatus alone. You have to retract your penis and have to see the base of your bulb of penis called as Glans penis. There you may see a groove called as coronal sulcus. Smegma is likely to be collected in that sulcus and may produce irritation which is the cause for the redness and long standing irritation may lead to the possibility of cancer. It has to be cleaned properly daily. So it is better to undergo circumcision as early as possible.
