Hi,

Welcome to HCM,

You have not mentioned the date of your menstrual periods, thus it is difficult to know the average duration of your menstrual cycle.

In a regular cycle of 28 days, ovulation generally occurs around 14th day of period.

And if ovum is fertilized, implantation occurs generally within a week.

Thus at the time of next due date for period, the age of fetus is just more than a week.

If miscarriage occurs at this age, it is generally not possible to recognize it with naked eyes.

If bleeding occurred on due date of your period, it seems to be a big clot only.

In case of doubt, you should have taken this piece to pathological laboratory for examination.

Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic and posting your query.

Hope you found my response to your query informative and helpful.
