Stiffness On Stitches From Coronary Triple Bypass, Chest Tightness, No Pain. Is It Normal While Recovering?

I find stiffness on my stitches from the coronary tripple bypass as well as chest tightness in the evening but without any pain. Shall I need to consult a cardiologist again or is it normal when one is recovering. But my stamina is very good even when i climb the stairs and hills or go to the gym. this stiffness is on upper abdomen part.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Dear Sir/ Madam
Thanks for writing to us.
Some sort of local pain, irritation, stiffness is common in most patients who undergo open heart surgery.
Moreover if a pain is not coming up on exercise or not being increased by exercise it is not likely to be anginal in origin.
If it persists, increases or is associated with shortness of breath or exertion, do see your cardiologist.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
