What causes stiffness in thighs?

I get pain and stiffness in the back of my thighs after extensive sitting. I also have had sciactica problems in the past and wonder if there is a connection. I have no problems on the weekends when I m away from sitting all day. I notice this problem more during the workweek.

Hello,

Possibly the pain and stiffness in the back of your thighs is due to compression as you keep sitting for long hours during the workweek. And, yes, possible due to sciatica you experienced before. Now, I think you should try to find a way to keep your legs in movement during the workweek. Try to make frequent breaks, and keep your legs moving. Plus take magnesium supplement. If still no improvement, then, should discuss further with orthopedic specialist.

All the best. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
