Stiffness And Severe Pain On Both Hands In Joints. Placed On Arthritis Pill, Still Some Pain. Advice ?
I am have been having stiffness and severe pain on my both hands especially the joints for the past seven months now. I was placed on rheumatoid Arthritis pill which is just helping as at now I, still have the moderate pain, stiffness and the swelling of the fingers. I am unable do to what I use to do and when I force myself I have to pay for it as the pain and swelling would increase I am 43 years old I have done lots off tests but still on going. Please you advice would be counted as I am desperate to go back to work
hello, thank you for using health care magic, first i would like to know you that cause of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is yet nit clear in medical history so we do not have curative drugs but only symptomatic drugs we have.. you didnt mentioned which drugs you are using.. you can use use NSAIDS, COXIBS, low dose steroid or DMARDS ( disease modifying anti rheumayic drug) like methotraxate.. consult your physician for..it you should also consult physiotherapist to teach you appropriate exercise which will really improve your condition.. hope this helps you..
