Hello Suresh,
There can be many reasons for ringing sound.
You have to consult an ENT specialist.
you have to get done--
---Pure tone audiometry(hearing tests)
---MRI Brain
hearing test can tell what is the hearing status and can it be one of the cause of tinnitus etc ..There is a battery of test which needs to be done.
Blood sugar, blood pressure examination.

Tab. Bilovas is actually a herbal medicine and it does help in decreasing tinnitus but the results are varied.Yes you should take it.
In addition you can meet a speech therapist they can give you ---
Tinnitus maskers
Hearing aids(if you have a hearing loss)
they do help in decreasing tinnitus
To prevent worsening of tinnitus --
Avoid listening to loud music
Avoid places with loud noise
AVOID SMOKING / TOBACCO CHEWING
Do not blow your nose hard specially during cold
Do not put oil in ears or do not try to clean your ears with pins ,or sharp objects.
Avoid eating ice creams
Avoid some medicines like salicylates ,Aspirin ,Quinine,Erythromycin etc
Get your Blood pressure checked and if high take appropriate medicines
Get your Blood sugars checked
