Sore Throat, Fever And Fatigue. Could It Be Chicken Pox Or Measles?
my child has a very painful soar throat and low body temp (97.2) and tired. we were around some kids that had what looked like chicken pox or measles on their bodies and faces. by the time their physical symptoms appeared we had already been exposed to them. we have no way of contacting them to find out what they have. when is a low body temp serious and when should we seek medical attention. thanks so much
Dear, As per the history you have given and the clinical findings your child may be having simple sore throat as far as measles and chiken pox is concerned they manifest with rashes and fever. Dont get panicky but offcourse you can wait for sometime and start some vit C syrup and and oral antibiotic to cure sore throat. I would suggest you to consult the Specialist if you don’t get relief as on examination the findings may be different and line of treatment may have to be changed. Please dont hasitate to consult and ask for any more quary. It is my pleasure and privlage to serve. Yours sincerely The Health Caremagic Medical Team
