Soccer Ball Hit On Chest. Could Not Breathe At The Moment. How To Avoid Breathing Problem?
Hey I had a question for a long time. A week ago I played soccer and the ball hit me in the chest pretty hard. At that moment I could´nt breath very well. I did not know what to do and got really scared but every thing is good now but my question was If something happens like that is there anything you can do to avoid the pain and to breath better. My friend says looking in the sky with a bend back could help.
Hi Thanks for your query, Chest trauma can lead to musculoskeletal injury like fracture of ribs and lung contusion. The musculoskeletal lesion including rib fracture, unless it is severe usually heals of its own gradually. If you have so much of concern, you may go for CT scan of chest to evaluate the lung and chest wall. Chest physiotherapy has got some role and better meet a physiotherapist for a proper advice regarding the exercise...
Best wishes
