Is Extreme Shortness Of Breath Normal After Having Pneumothorax?
I had a pneumothorax 3 weeks ago. My doctor told me to continue my life as I knew it before but I have been coughing a lot and have difficulty breathing. My doctor says shortness of breath is normal but it just doesn t feel right and it s extremely tiring, thus difficult to get on with my life. thanks for your feedback.

These symptoms are quite normal during pneumothorax. But, considering the long period of time, I would recommend consulting with your doctor and performing a new chest X-ray study and inflammation tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR).
