Suggest remedy for pain and rashes on chest

Posted on Thu, 30 Jun 2016 in Lung and Chest disorders
Question: Hit by a car while riding a motorcycle about 35 mph one week ago. Taken to ER, no broken bones or life threatening problems found. Had major pain in left chest (swelling but no visible bruising), and calf (bruising, swelling, small gash no stitches), following the accident which gradually lessened to tolerable when remaining still. Still have chest pain in certain positions and have developed a rash on chest and on the side of my body I was struck on.

Brief Answer:
No need to worry much for this.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
So you are having blunt chest trauma due to accident.
And this can cause musculoskeletal pain.
No need to worry for major heart or lung damage because your reports are normal.
In my opinion, you should follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid movements causing pain.
2. Avoid bad postures in sleep.
3. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
4. Take painkiller like ibuprofen.
5. Apply ice packs on lesions.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these in 1 week time.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
