Slight Hit Below The Sternum Yesterday, Have Discomfort Throughout The Area Today. Worrisome?
I got hit below the sternum yesterday by a slight hit (wife was kidding around and back handed me there with her fist). Today I feel discomfort there and throughout the area? Is this normal. I was sitting in the passenger seat of a car when she hit me. Should I be worried? X-ray? It feels discomforting there with pressure.

It seems like a minor trauma. You do not need an X-ray for this. Apply warm compresses to the affected area. Simple analgesics like Tylenol will help you.
