For the past two weeks the skin on my upper right arm (a touch left of where you d give someone a shot in the arm) is completely numb. I can feel touch but not pain, on the skin. BUT, if I press on the muscle beneath the skin that is numb, it has become more and more painful. If I squeeze my fist really, really hard, it doesn t produce the same pain that happens when I press on the area. Should I be concerned enough to go to my PCP? I sleep on that side every night and that arm is under my pillow, out straight so that both pillows rest on it AND my head rests on the two pillows so I ve prolonged seeing my Dr. because I ve thought maybe the weight of everything on that approx. area may have caused swelling or a pinched nerve ....but I thought if that was the case, it would get better, not worse day to day..... Thank you for your advice... C. Myers
