Side Of Taking Methylpredisolone?

I'm taking methylpredisolone 21 pack; second day. My face is flushed and and slightly warm. last night my legs hurt (not today). No other effects; slept fine and not having any fast heart rate. I'm 43, female, 5' 9" and 195 lbs. Taking it for bursitis in my shoulder

Hello.Short-term effects of taking methylprednisolone (or another corticosteroid) are increased levels of glucose, fluid retention and increased blood pressure.
Continued use also cause osteoporosis and other adverse effects. It is important that when your symptoms improve,the intake of the drug is not discontinued abruptly, should be done slowly.
