Should Sperm Count Be Checked Again If Trying To Have A Baby?

4 years back, my husband had his sperm count checked and it was low. So he was given some medicine by my doctor. Also that same year I was able to conceive and bear a child. Now, we are trying for another child, should my husband get his sperm count checked again and take the same medicine.

Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
Your concern is understandable.
As an Urologist, let me assure you , that in a span of 4 years, then can be a change in sperm count and other parameters.
If you've been trying to have a pregnancy for over 6 months, your husband must have a semen analysis, after 3 days abstinence.
You may contact me by name, with the report, for an expert opinion.
Wishing you the very best.
