Should I Take Clome Before Recagon Injection? Suffering From PCOD, Taken Siphene 100mg, Follicles Absent, AMH 14.5
Hi Doctor, I am having PCOD and PCOD drilling done for me last october after that also no positive result, and in last cycle i took Siphene 100mg but no follicles found so the Dr cancelled the cycle my AMH level is 14.5 , now for this month my Dr is suggesting to take recagon injection but one of my friend says without taking clome donot go for recagon directly so i am confused please guide what should need to do?
Hi, Thanks for the query. Elevated AMH levels indicate poly cystic ovary disease. For more details : http://srsree.blogspot.in/2013/12/amh-anti-mullarian-hormone.html As there was no follicle development in the previous cycle, possibly you may need to increase the dose of ovulation induction drug with your doctor's advice. And as your friend said usually after giving ovulation induction drug only recagon injection is advised. So, once discuss with your doctor regarding the specific cause to give only recagon. In case of obesity, decreasing the weight can help in reducing the symptoms of PCOD to some extent. Take care.
