Should I Meet A Doctor For Heavy And Long Periods?

I have heavy bleeding during my periods and my periods lasts about 11 days. I recently had a pap smear but it came out negative. Do I need to go see a gyn/ob doctor for this problem? Can you tell if my estrogen is low by performing a pap smear or do I need another test?

Hello there!
Your condition of heavy bleeding is called menorrhagia and there are a lot of reasons for that. hormonal imbalances to tumors or simple adenomas can cause that. so instead of worrying seeking a gynecologist's consult would be a better option and more reasonable for your menorrhagia.
