hole in heart, should i excercise? I'm 51 yrs old. I have shortness of breath and it was only happening during walking, excercise and now while I am stationary. I had a ecco cardiogram and a stress test and this is where they saw the hole. Did I have this since birth?

Dear Sir/ Madam
Thanks for your query.
A hole in heart is mostly since birth. However it may occur after a heart attack too; but that is a life threatening condition and requires emergency surgery.
The details provided by you are not enough to decide if you can exercise. You need to consult your physician for same because the decision to exercise depends upon physical examination too beside investigations.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
