Should I Be Worried About The Burning In Chest And Sore Throat After Tonsillectomy?

Hi my name is chanlier, I'm 13 and I had a tonsillectomy at around 8 this morning and my chest kind of burns for te last few minutes. Is that normal, everything else is perfect. I have a slight sore throat and my ears hurt but it's normal. So about the pain?

hello,thanks for ur query, ur burning chest could be due to acidity secondary to fasting status of tonsillectomy procedure,sore throat and ear pain is common postoperatively.tell ur treating surgeon ur complaints,he will handle it by iv pantocid and suitable medications.all d best.take care.
