Should I Be Concerned As I Saw A Small Amount Of Blood In My Son's Ear?
While cleaning my son's ears tonight after his shower, he moved suddenly which scared the crap out of me causing the Q-tip I had to go in deep. He said ouch, but then was fine. After I cleaned his other ear. I looked at his right ear again & saw a small amount of blood. He says he can hear & absolutely no pain. But feels like he has water in it. Help!!! What should I do???
WELCOME TO HCM. U PROBABLY HAV CAUSED DAMAGE TO EAR CANAL OF UR SON. MAY BE HE IS NOT HAVING PAIN FOR NOW BUT IT MAY COME BY TOMORROW DUE TO SECONDARY INFECTION. U NEED TO TAKE HIM TO AN ENT SPECIALIST FOR CLINICAL EXAMINATION OF HIS EAR. THIS WILL RULE OUT ANY DAMAGE TO EAR DRUM ALSO. NEVER PUT EAR BUDS IN ANYBODY'S EAR. ITS REALLY VERY DANGEROUS.
