Hello I am not sure which country you belong but in some developing and in all under developed country GIT worm infection is main cause for pain in abdomen in children I would have suggested to my patient GO for weekly morning stool examination after laxative to be given at bed time for 3 weeks (three times in total) for ova of worms Do de- worming of GIT at least every month for 3 courses I used a drug by the generic name Albenadazole bed time Your doctor will give you prescription or if it is available at your place OTC you can take it from your chemist A Ultra sonogarhy of abdomen may be done to rule out any kidney or bladder problem Wishing that your child remain healthy Dr Lal Psychiatrist
