Should I Take Lantus For Diabetes And Dark Yellow Urine?

My son 15 years , has diabetecs. Doctor has recommendate to take Lantus 30unit at night &

Human Arcra 24 & 20 unit before lunch & dinner. ( Started insulin from 9th Jan 2014)

From last 4 to 5 days he has dark yelloe urine in morning. Is there any problem?

Dear i understand your concern dark colour urine may be due to dehydration advise him to take sufficient water.taking vitamin tablets also will make his urine dark yellow.dark yellow urine with fever,stomach pain yellow eyes ...this are symptoms of jaundice if it is so advise to take him to doctor and kindly let hiss urine and blood examination done.in my opinion taking a shot of actrapid before break fast shoul be considered.advised to check his sugar level 2 hrs after break fast if they are reaching more than 180mg/dl i guess you should take a small dose before break fast also .....regards
